The Legacy of Palmetto Point

When Keenan Norwood passes away, his four sons, Ben, David, Jerry and Larry, come home to Palmetto Point. They have to decide what becomes of the place that holds their parents' memories.

Saving a family legacy turns into building families of their own: storms and rebuilding, new businesses and old friendships, weddings, heartache, and a great deal of laughter.

A letter from Brenda

I write for both ends of the family table.

For the grown-ups, there's Palmetto Point. The town is fictional, but it's built from my lifelong friendships and the town I grew up in.

For the little ones, there's Freddie Bear. He started with my grandsons. After countless hours reading aloud to them, I noticed how many children's books were missing a lesson worth keeping or artwork worth lingering over. So I set out to make books that are heartfelt, beautiful to look at, and made with purpose.

Thank you for pulling up a chair.
